The things im going to do to Eat Like A Happy Person!

1. Pick Real Food
To be your best, you have to cut back on processed food. A study found that people showed improvements in memory and mental function within ust two weeks of eating healthier.

I have to cut down on snacks and half processed cooked food! Esp fried food(:
I need maximum memory for the exams in 2 weeks!

2. Power Up Breakfast
To cut it short, carbohydrates refuel your brain, so you think more clearly, and help ou start the day off calm. Whatever you do, do not skip breakfast. Even if you have a good lunch, you'll never regain the energy and brain power you would have had if yu had taken give minutes to ea in the morning.

I have started to eat breakfast quite regularly but im still missing out on some days when my lessons start late in the day. I must make an effort to wake up before 9 everyday to be in time for breakfast! Start my day with a good breakfast and revision(:

3. Have some fat at lunch
Im already doing this.

But for my friends who are reading this, the brain's production of an appetite-stimulating chemical called galanin triggers fat cravings, so you want to satisfy them in a healthy way. Have a piece of dark chocolate as a healthier choice=D

4. Eat a light dinner
You may want to crawl into bed after a big meal, but it's a false sense of sleepiness. Your digestive syste keeps churning for at least 4 hours and the activity revs your metabolism, so you really won't be able to relax into a deep sleep. So eat early and with good options!

5. Snack before bed
Yes you din see wrongly. An all-carb nosh about an hour before you turn in can up your serotonin levels. This brain chemical has a calming effect on the body. You'll sleep more soundly, which is crucial for a happier mindset, maximum enegy and weight control.

No wonder Im always more energised than people who have more sleep than me. Now i know it's because of the snacks i have everyday before i sleep=D So dont torture yourself when u're feeling hungry in the night and go to bed feeling ugly. A small bite wont do you harm(:
