I Wish I Wish
My 3rd 老姑 passed away on sat.
And that makes me notice something about the old;
That they'll try to make it pass lunar new year.
Like my grandmother.
She passed away on the 14th day of new year.
Anyhow, I decided to write this post after a love story from my dad.
And of cos it's related to someone I've mentioned above.
My 3rd 老姑.
3rd 老姑's husband was supposed to go to my great-grandmother's house for a match making session with my 4th 老姑.
But he happened to see the 3rd sister and was attracted to her immediately.
So of cos he requested to marry the 3rd sister instead.
That reminds me how a term which pp always like to use.
缘份。
It's something so amazing and it seems like no one can avoid it.
When it's yours, it will be yours.
We can set a thousands requirements and standards of a partner.
But we usually end up with someone far from it.
And for 3rd 老姑,they stayed loving even when they were old.
He still remembered seeing them holding each other's hands.
How many couples still hold hands after they've passed 40.
Some even stop after a few years into the marriage.
The husband also choose to move out of the house as my 老姑 couldn't get along with the mother-in-law.
Men in that generation hardly do that.
It's 缘份.
The 4th sister was unhappy with them and so they weren't in good terms even until today.
I feel it's really no point as what's not supposed to be yours,
it's pointless to spend your whole lifetime thinking of it and hopping to get it one day.
Let go when u need to and you'll realize there are more beautiful things out there for you.
Less is more.
